Introduction of Rotary Dryer
Rotary dryer is a kind of highly efficient, stable and reliable heating drying equipment, and its performance is better than tube bundle rotary dryer, blade rotary dryer. Drying machine adopts "center-adjusting roller device", making the cooperation of roller and rolling ring always show linear contact which greatly reduces the wear and power consumption. This machinery is applied in the materials like coal slurry, mud, felted gypsum, high-moisture swell soil, electroplate mud and so on.
Principle of Rotary Dryer
The moist material enters the dryer from one end. With the stirring of the uniformly distributed lifting blade inside the shell, the material disperses equably inside the dryer. In this way, the material is fully exposed to the flowing hot air, and the drying process is quickened. During the drying process, the material is moved manageably to the other end of the dryer under the effect of both the gradient and the hot air. Thus the finished product is produced. The rotary sludge dryer is mainly applied in the drying of the material, which requires low-temperature drying and mass continuous drying, for example, the drying of large particles and large specific gravity, such as the ore, coal, metal power, blast-furnace slag, phosphate fertilizer, thiamine, and so on, in the industries of chemical, rotary dryer for minerals, metallurgy and etc and the drying of powdery and granular material of special requirements, such as the HP foaming agent, vinasse slag, light calcium carbonate, activated clay, magnetic powder, graphite, herb residue, etc.
Maintenance of Drum Dryer
- Check the air source triplet before starting the drum dryer every time. When the oil level is insufficient, add lubricating oil and drain the water.
- Every time before using the dryer, the cotton wadding filter must be cleaned. If the filter is blocked, the air volume will be reduced, resulting in slow drying or not drying, and waste of energy.
- The most important point of the drum dryer equipment is the finished drying material. Carefully check the moisture content of the material after drying. According to the moisture content of the material after drying, increase or reduce the heat supply. This is the simplest control operation of the drum dryer equipment, and it is also the most important.
- The setting of drying temperature should be set correctly according to the drying conditions of the material itself. When drying the material, the dryer first preheat to 80 degrees, then turn off the gas and cool the air for 20 minutes.
- If the rolling ring of the drum dryer swings on the cylinder, this phenomenon is because the concave joint side of the rolling ring is not tightened. The solution is to tighten it a little, and pay attention not to be too tight, otherwise, it may prone to accidents is prone to accidents.
- At the end of the drum dryer operation, please turn the temperature control knob to the position of 0 degrees to reduce improper startup and prolong the service life of the solenoid valve.
